একটি ভালো সিভি কিভাবে তৈরি করবেনঃ পঞ্চম পর্ব
কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা প্যারাগ্রাফে আপনার কাজের জায়গা, যোগদানের সময় ও আপনার পজিশন আগেই উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু আপনার কাজের দায়িত্ব ও দক্ষতা নিয়ে কোন বিবরণ তখন উল্লেখ করা হয়নি। একজন চিকিৎসক হিসেবে আপনার দায়িত্ব সবজায়গায় মোটামুটি একই। তাই এই বিবরণটি বারবার না লিখে একবারই লেখা ভালো। এখানে নীচের প্যারাগ্রাফে দেখুন। একজন চিকিৎসক হিসেবে কি কি দায়িত্ব আপনি পালন করতে পারেন, কি কি দক্ষতা আপনার আছে, তার একটি বিবরণ দেওয়া হল। একজন চিকিৎসক হিসেবে মেডিসিন ও সার্জারি ছাড়াও আপনাকে কিছু প্রশাসনিক ও ব্যবস্থাপনা বিভাগে দায়িত্ব পালন করতে হয়। এখানে সেই গুলো উল্লেখ আছে। এই প্যারাগ্রাফ কে তিনটি সাব প্যারাগ্রাফে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। প্রতিটি ভাগেই আপনার কি কি দক্ষতা আছে তার বিবরণ দেওয়া আছে। আপনি আপনার দক্ষতা অনুসারে আপনার সিভি সাজিয়ে নিন।

উপরের এই সব দক্ষতা ছাড়াও আপনার আর কিছু দক্ষতা অতিরিক্ত দক্ষতা প্যারাগ্রাফে উল্লেখ করতে পারেন। যেমন কম্পিউটার এ দক্ষতা, ভাষাগত দক্ষতা, ইত্যাদি। এখানে আমি কম্পিউটার ও ভাষা ছাড়াও আরো দুইটি উল্লেখ করেছি। যেমন ড্রাইভিং। আইসিডিডিআরবি সহ কয়েকটি এনজিও তে ড্রাইভিং জানা বাধ্যতামূলক। আমাদের মধ্যে অনেকে ড্রাইভিং জানেন। আশাকরি আপনার এই স্কিল টি উল্লেখ করবেন। অনেকে মেডিক্যাল বিষয়ে লেখালেখি করেন, বিভিন্ন ব্লগে, ফেসবুকে, আবার অনেকে মেডিক্যাল গাইড বই ও প্রকাশ করেন। এই গুলো আপনার এক ধরনের স্কিল। এই স্কিল গুলো পাবলিকেশন প্যারাগ্রাফে উল্লেখ করবেন। এতে নিয়োগ কর্তা আপনার সৃজনশীলতা নিয়ে ধারনা পাবেন।

রেফারেন্স একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়। প্রতিটি কাজের জায়গায় আবেদনে এক একাধিক রেফারেন্স এর জন্য বলা হয়। তাই সবসময় এমন রেফারেন্স দেওয়ার চেস্টা করবেন, যিনি আপনার সম্পর্কে ভালো জানেন। রেফারেন্স এর ক্ষেত্রে একটি আপনার শিক্ষক অন্যটি আপনার পূর্বের কাজের জায়গার বস, সুপারভাইজারের হওয়া ভালো।
রেফারেন্স এর ক্ষেত্রে কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ঃ
১) ম্যাটস এ যে শিক্ষকের সাথে আপনার সম্পর্ক সবচেয়ে ভালো, একাডেমিক এ তার রেফারেন্স দিন।
২) বর্তামান কাজের জায়গায় যে বসের সাথে আপনার সম্পর্ক সবচেয়ে ভালো, প্রফেশনাল এ তার রেফারেন্স দিন।
৩) রেফারেন্স দেওয়ার পূর্বে আপনার শিক্ষক ও বসের অনুমতি নিন।
৪) রেফারেন্স দাতার বিনা অনুমতিতে তার ফোন কিংবা ইমেইল সিভি তে উল্লেখ করবেন না। সবসময় তাদের ফোন ও ইমেইল আপডেট রাখুন।
৫) যে কোন জবে আবেদনের সময় এবং ইন্টারভিউ এর আগে রেফারেন্স দাতার সাথে যোগাযোগ করে তাঁকে বিস্তারিত অবহিত করবেন, এতে আপনার সম্পর্কে রেফারেন্স দিতে তার সুবিধা হবে।
৬) এই বিষয়টিতে সবসময় স্বচ্ছ থাকার চেষ্টা করুন।

অনেকে সিভিতে নিজের শখ নিয়ে একটি প্যারাগ্রাফ রাখেন। ভুলেও এই কাজ করবেন না। নিয়োগকর্তা আপনার শখ জেনে কি করবেন, তার দরকার আপনার স্কিল, আপনার কাজ, শিক্ষা, অভিজ্ঞতা। আপনার শখ কি, তা জেনে উনার কি লাভ? এতে বেশিরভাগ নিয়োগ কর্তা বিরক্ত হোন।
